Annagine's Crew headed up by skipper Chris Collins is there to provide you with an outstanding level of professionalism; their main aim is to provide you with a spectacular, life-enhancing and memorable experience which fulfils all your expectations in the utmost of comfort and style.

Seconded up by Ashleigh Allen, who's experience in entertainment, the culinary arts and guest logistics, Annagine's crew guarantee that your time aboard will be savoured by you and your fellow guests.

Chris M. Collins - Skipper / Engineer

I was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and started sailing at the age of 6, taking part in Junior regattas all around Ontario and on the Great Lakes. At the age of 15 I started teaching dinghy sailing during which time I bought my first keelboat and used it to sail all around the Great Lakes. After graduating university (International studies and Modern Languages at the Université d'Ottawa) I worked for a while in a shipyard and had my own boat delivery service. I moved to the Caribbean and spent a season doing deliveries and relief work on many different sailing yachts. I joined an 86' Swan racing yacht and stayed with it as Engineer for almost 2 years, doing Caribbean seasons and Mediterranean seasons, racing and charter. After spending some time working for different yachts part-time, I joined Annagine in Holland in December 2010 to help with the last stages of the build as engineer. I have sailed extensively in the Western Mediterranean and Caribbean and am looking forward to another great season aboard the SY Annagine. I can speak English, French, German, some Spanish, Dutch, and Estonian, and a little bit of Russian.

Ashleigh Allen - Cook / Steward

Ashleigh is a hard working, professional individual who pays attention to detail. She has a extensive cooking knowledge and experience with a hands-on attitude when on deck. She's a highly motivated and happy person with a taste for adventure and travel that has taken her many places across the globe, which she likes to incorporate into her dishes.
A well rounded background in the hospitality industry makes her take great pride in her work. She's an enthusiastic sailor having grown up along the coast of South Africa where she participated in off-shore and harbour-based regattas.
